Modify Selection

If you have an active selection then you can modify it to better work on different styles of borders. There are different border selection modification functions that can be found in Menu Selection/Modify. They will use this dialog to apply the respective modification.



Size defines the size of the modification in pixels, e.g. the size of pixels used to increase or shrink the current selection.

Round Shape and Square Shape
When modifying a selection on its edges then you get different results depending on whether the pixel size defines a stroke made with a round or square shape. Especially you may want to keep an angled selection to retain corners or to round them.
